Anonymous by design
Use IjaChat without ever saying who you are.
IjaChat has no real-name fields. You choose a pseudonym and a handle, a coarse region if you like, and a generated avatar. Nothing else is asked.
Many members can’t be open about how they love. Anonymity by design means the app never holds information it doesn’t need, so nothing can leak.
Every upload is encrypted with its own key before it is stored. Storage staff can’t read member media.
There are no public links to your media. Every download is checked against your conversation, blocks and plan.
Protected screens block screenshots where the device allows it and detect them everywhere else.
On Android, protected screens can be blocked at the system level. On iOS, screenshots can’t be blocked, so we detect them and tell you and, in direct chats, the other person. No app can guarantee that a screen is never captured, for example by another device.
When you switch apps, your screen is covered so nothing shows in the app switcher.

Anonymity never weakens safety. Reports, blocks and moderation work on handles and ids, and the super admin can act when the law requires it.

When you join, two automated assistants greet you in Tunisian dialect, answer your questions and point you to rooms you’ll like. They always carry an assistant badge, never pretend to be people, never join rooms or calls, and you can mute them in one tap.
